Access to the report builder is restricted to authorised accounts.

Accounts are created by Strata Flood. When you sign in we record your email, IP address, browser and activity for security and audit.

What we collect. Your email address, IP address, browser user-agent, and the date and time of each sign-in and each report you generate (including the postcode and report type).

Why, and our lawful basis.

To provide the report service to your account — UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b) (performance of a contract / steps to provide a service you have requested).
To keep the service secure, prevent unauthorised access and maintain an audit trail of the flood reports produced — UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f) (our legitimate interests in security and accountability).

Sharing. We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. We may disclose it only where required by law or to protect the security of the service.

Storage & transfers. Your data is held on secure servers within the UK/EEA. We do not transfer it outside the UK/EEA.

Retention. Sign-in and audit records are kept for 12 months, then deleted.

Automated decisions. We do not make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you. Flood ratings concern properties, not account holders.

Necessity. Providing this data is necessary to hold an account and use the service; without it we cannot give access.

Your rights. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to restrict or object to its processing — contact privacy@strata-flood.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), ico.org.uk.
